Free Photoshop Tutorials & Photo Search Online

You don’t have to be a genius, a trendy up-to-date teen or technologically advanced to figure out how to do certain things online or how to work that new piece of software you just bought. You just have to know where to look! There are billions of  tutorials for billions of programs and software out there today. Another thing Photoshop Tutorials are good for is if your building a new website, and say, you want to figure out how to put animations on your site or you don’t have a clue as to how a navigation bar/menu works but you want to put one on your website.

Tutorials are built specifically to show you how to do these things. They teach you how to do something with in a program or how to work the program itself. Just as an example so you can actually see how many people use and or need tutorials, if your go to Google and search “free tutorials”, you will see pages upon pages of sites that offer these things.

Photoshop TutorialsThese tutorials have easy to follow instructions, and sometimes even movies or illustrations to help you further. Say for instance I just built a really cool gaming website, and I want to figure out how to make my Title into a really neat font so that it “fits” with the style of my website. There are tutorials online that will help me do this. I just have to find the site where the tutorial is, and look up something like “text effects” or “font effects.” Usually with in that category I will find a whole bunch of different fonts that are stylized in a certain way.

You can really find anything your searching for, the sky is the limit on this one. Gold etched, Flower text, Warped text effect, Glow ring, Fire, etc. Obviously they don’t just offer text effects, here are some more options these sites will probably offer, tutorial wise:

  • 3D Effects
  • Brushes
  • Buttons & Interfaces
  • Colors
  • Filters
  • Photo Editing
  • Poster & Ad Design
  • Web Layouts
  • Icon Creation
  • Forum Sigs
  • and more!

Speaking of Photo’s and layouts, there are also a lot of sites online that offer photographs, for free. I’m always looking for things like this because I have a website online where I’m constantly in need of pictures of food and drink items. You can use these Stock photography completely free of charge and in some instances they aren’t even copy written, so you can use them in whatever way you want to.

There’s a few websites I know about in particular that have anywhere from 500-15,000 photos you can use, and they are directly on the website. All you have to do is a quick search and you find everything you need. You can use these as pictures with in a layout for web Design Training options, on your website, your blog, etc.

All you have to do is either download the photo directly to your hard drive (put it somewhere you can find it) or it will open in a new window for you and you can just right click the picture, goto properties, and find the property url. Either way this is an incredibly easy, fast, and convenient way to find the pictures you need online.

Investing Time and Effort in Photoshop Tutoriats

Learning The Basic Photoshop Tools

Adobe has its own Photoshop tutorials that run the gamut of instruction.

You can find Photoshop tutorials on the Adobe site on abstracts, automation, animation, the basics of using Photoshop, buttons and brushes, using color effectively, digital art, drawing, creating desired effects with drawing or photos, retouching photos, photography in general, scripting, textual effects, Photoshop patterns and textures, graphics for the Web, and layouts for the Web.

One of the most basic of Photoshop Tutorials is a complete explanation of all you’ll find on the Photoshop toolbar.

You’ll learn lessons that include the use of the marquee tools. There are several: the elliptical, the single row, the single column and the rectangular.

The rectangular and elliptical marquee tools lets you expand or reduce an area that is shaped as the tools indicate. You can use a tool to size one row or one column with the appropriate marquee tool.

Photoshop TutorialsThese basic will be taught in this Photoshop tutorial, along with the use of the move tool which lets you create movement of a layer, the lasso tool which lets you capture a specific area, and the magnetic lasso tools, which lets you change the location of images with varying colors.

The polygonal lasso tool, in contrast, will go from point to point in a straight line or lines. You’ll even learn how to use a magic want with Adobe Photoshop Tutorials. This magic want tool lets you click inside a one color area and move only that area.

The Photoshop crop tool, part of this tutorial, lets you delete parts of a photo.

Wit h this Photoshop tutorial you’ll learn other basic tools such as the spot healing tool, the healing brush tool, the red eye tool, the patch tool, the brush tool, the pencil tool, and the color replacement tool.

With the clone stamp tool, you’ll learn how to use Photoshop to copy only parts of a particular image, while the pattern stamp tool will teach you how to take an image and brush a pattern on to it.

The Photoshop tutorial will teach you the mechanics of history brush tool use, how it is used to undo what you’ve created by simply brushing over the image you’ve altered and taking it back to the image it was before.

It has an even more advance use, though, in that, you can actually undo the image change in only the specific parts from which you wish to remove your latest alteration.

The art history brush, another tool taught in Photoshop Brushes, is much the same as the history brush except that it also lets you style at the same time.

Photoshop tutorials teach three eraser tools – the standard eraser, the background eraser and the magic eraser tool. With the first you can do just as its name suggests – erase part of the image you’ve created with Photoshop.

With the background version you can erase only the image background, while the magic eraser which lets you make even more varied choices of what to eliminate from the image.

The Benefits Of Getting Cs2 Free Photoshop Tutorial

Photoshop TutorialsGraphic designers consider the Photoshop Tutorials as a very important tool in their trade. The program offers a lot of help in creating special effects and in manipulating photos and other designs. This program is virtually a must-have for every web designer who wants to be the best in his trade.

The more advanced designers however desire a more upbeat program that can be easily manipulated by designers and with additional features. The good news for graphic designers is the introduction of the new Photoshop CS2 program which is a very welcome improvement of the old adobe Photoshop program.

There are a lot of things that a designer can only wish for in the old adobe Photoshop program and which are now available in the CS2 Photoshop program. Those who already know adobe photoshop like the back of their hands can just dive in and use the program with a little adjustment.

However those who have not yet fully mastered adobe Photoshop Brushes or who are still learning adobe photoshop can look at the CS2 photoshop in an entirely new manner. Just like the adobe photoshop program the CS2 photoshop program can be easily learned.

Anybody interested in learning the CS2 program can get hold of the CS2 free photoshop tutorial. These tutorials can be downloaded from some Internet sites for free and a person only need to invest some time to give some information to the webmaster and the tutorial will be sent to him.

Getting a free CS2 photoshop tutorial is as easy as downloading photos from the Internet. There is no reason why a person interested in learning new layout and design techniques could not gain access to CS2 photoshop. Any designer can just upgrade his old design program and shift to the CS2 photoshop program which promises more effects and techniques as well as easy manipulation.

Photo enhancement is now more possible with CS2 photoshop. A designer can easily correct photo imperfections using the spot healing brush tool of CS2 photoshop without getting a source first unlike the old version.

One of the major problems faced by photographers is the red eye effect. Nobody wants to look like the devil incarnate so most photographs get buried in the computer because of the red eye. With CS2 photoshop a person can easily get rid of the red eye effect with just one click of the mouse.

While the old photoshop program allowed a designer to enlarge objects in photographs, it however gets pixelized and no longer worth looking at. With the upgraded program, this can be done without destroying the overall look of the object.

One problem experienced by beginners in the old photoshop versions is the seeming uselessness of the help tool because it does not really help the user. With the new CS2 photoshop the help button gets to be really helpful to the beginner.

Getting and learning a new design program like Photoshop Tutorials used to be difficult. One has to pay for it and the program can take some time to reach the market. But things are looking up thanks to the Internet.

The new CS2 Photoshop can be downloaded for free and in a matter of minutes a person can already start tweaking and experimenting on his newfound design companion.

Photoshop TutorialsDo you own the program Adobe Photoshop 7.0? Have you been looking for new ways to use it? Have you been searching all over the internet for Adobe Photoshop 7.0 tutorials but can’t find any? Well, this is probably because many of the Photoshop tutorials today are for version 9, which is the latest release of the program from Adobe. Here are some tips you can use to look for Adobe Photoshop Tutorials.

The advantage to looking for Adobe Photoshop 7.0 tutorials in a bookstore is that you would be likely to find one that’s cheap. This is because not many people are looking for such books anymore.

Although this type of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 tutorial cannot give you the information as fast as other media, books often have much broader content. You will have to turn pages and search the index for the topic you want but the knowledge you gain will be worth the effort.

3) Talk to an expert – although old Adobe Photoshop 7.0 tutorials may be deleted, you can be sure that there are people who still know how to work the program. Instead of looking for a tutorial, why don’t you just ask someone to teach you how to work the program? Sure, it can be a bit more time consuming and may seem to be pretty inconvenient compared to getting a tutorial, but this is probably the best way you can learn how to use Adobe Photoshop Brushes.

You will be able to ask questions and clarify certain points about the program that may seem unclear. The best thing about this is that the person who gives you the Adobe Photoshop 7.0 tutorial will actually be able to demonstrate the things that he or she teaches. You will be able to see and understand the lessons more quickly. You can also jump to more advanced lessons by asking the person about specific things that you want to do with the program.

As you can see, there are a lot of things that you can do to get Adobe Photoshop 7.0 tutorials. What you just need to do is to take what resources you have and make the most of them. Try to think outside the box and the answer will come to you.

The Effects of Tutorials In Photoshop

Photoshop TutorialsYou’ve heard of the numerous tutorials in Photoshop available as online lessons and through CDs and have probably wondered if they are as effective as they promise. After all, you don’t want to waste your time and money on a method of learning that will not have any benefits for you in the end. But can you effectively learn Photoshop through tutorials as well as you would in a classroom setting? Here, we examine the pros and cons:

Practical reasons for using Photoshop Tutorials

Let’s face it: taking classes in Photoshop are more expensive than online and video tutorials. You will be paying not just for the instructor’s fees but also for the facilities and use of equipment. However, you will be exposed to an environment where you have direct and immediate access to an instructor. Any questions or confusions you may have regarding a particular topic or instruction are easily resolved.

Independence

With tutorials, you work on your own. This is an effective method of learning for you if you get distracted by other people easily or if you’re shy. Tutorials cater to the different learning styles of users and learning is achieved depending on their willingness and on the effort they put in.

Convenience

Another reason why tutorials are more attractive is because of its convenience, which attracts many people who want to learn Photoshop Brushes to the various online programs available. These are usually the people who can work well by themselves, have access to the Web and have reasonable computer skills. Tutorials also allow them to work anywhere, anytime, at their own pace. If they want to skip some lessons, advance to another topic or spend more time on a particular subject, they can.

And now the question: what are the effects of Photoshop tutorials?

Photoshop is not just about learning how to use special tools, producing digital art and using special effects. It is also about understanding how these functions work separately so it is easier to use them in combination to create an integrated picture.

That is why online tutorials such as http://Adobe.com, http://CBTCafe.com and http://PhotoshopCafe.com offer tutorials on the basics of Photoshop. Even video tutorials have sessions that introduce the program in its basic instructions. Learners are encouraged to know what Photoshop can do so they develop enough understanding to actually make it work. After all, users don’t just memorize a series of steps in order to produce a certain effect. They must be able to use the instructions to create an entirely different work.

Granted that you have the Free Backgrounds and skills required for the software (knowledge of terminologies, basic computer skills), tutorials should be enough to teach you the basic and intermediate knowledge you need for learning the software. And you don’t have to stop there. There are thousands of tutorials you can access online, most of which were developed by some of the industry’s well-respected professionals. With so many resources available for your use, you need only to tap into them to learn everything you need to know.

But tutorials alone will not turn you into an expert. Even the best Photoshop artists didn’t get there by just knowing what to do. They had to work on hundreds of projects that range from the simple to the complicated in order to work with Photoshop confidently.

Photoshop tutorials are effective if you have the inclination, interest and resources. After all, tutorials are just a method of learning and have been used for many years to teach people a wide variety of subjects from technical know-how to academics. It is what you do with what you know that will spell the big difference.
